Market Update:
The bulls remain in clear control of this market. The clear theme since the Feb 11th low is that, for now, easy money reigns supreme. Dr. Yellen spoke today and largely reiterated her recent easy money stance. A few other Fed officials have taken a slightly more hawkish stance in recent days but here comments today made it abundantly clear who’s in charge. The USD immediately fell and stocks and a slew of commodities immediately rallied.  This has been the primary theme since the Feb 11th low. Thursday is the last day of the month and quarter. On Friday we have the always fun Jobs report then we enter earnings season. Those are the major catalysts ahead of us right now. So far we continue to see virtually no selling in the market and the very strong underlying bid remains alive and well. For now, that’s bullish for stocks. Additionally, the market has been trading in a very quiet range over the past 11 days which is also bullish after a big rally. This has been a VERY difficult quarter for most people on Wall Street. Thankfully, we navigated it relatively well and are looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring.
